You have the right to raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection matters. We would, however, welcome the opportunity to address any concerns directly before you contact the ICO.

What personal data we collect

In order to provide safe, effective, and appropriate healthcare services, we collect personal data that you provide directly to us, as well as data generated during the course of your care.

This includes identifying information such as your name, date of birth, contact details, address, next of kin, and payment details. Where relevant, it also includes health and medical information such as medical history, test results, clinical correspondence, diagnostic findings, and treatment notes. This health information is classified as special category data under UK GDPR and is handled with enhanced safeguards.

When you use our website, we may also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and website usage data through cookies. Further details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

How and why we use your data

We use your personal data to provide healthcare services safely and effectively, to communicate with you about your care, to arrange appointments, referrals, investigations, and follow-up, and to meet our professional, legal, and regulatory obligations.

We process your data on lawful bases recognised under UK GDPR, including where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract for healthcare services, to comply with legal obligations, to protect vital interests in medical emergencies, and where you have provided explicit consent for the use of health data. In limited circumstances, we may also rely on legitimate interests, such as service improvement and fraud prevention, where these do not override your rights.

Your care is always delivered in accordance with professional standards, including guidance issued by the General Medical Council and the Care Quality Commission.

Sharing your data

We only share your personal data where this is necessary, proportionate, and lawful. This may include sharing information with clinicians, laboratories, hospitals, diagnostic providers, insurers, or other healthcare professionals directly involved in your care. Such sharing takes place only where there is a clear clinical, legal, or contractual basis and, where required, with your explicit consent.

We may also share limited information with trusted third-party service providers, such as payment processors or IT service providers, who act under our instructions and are contractually required to protect your data.

We do not sell your personal data and do not allow third parties to use it for their own purposes.

Data security and storage

We take the security of your personal data seriously. All medical records are stored on secure clinical systems with restricted access. Payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard security measures.

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area, this is done only where appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR.

How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Medical records are retained in accordance with NHS, GMC, and CQC guidance. Financial and accounting records are retained for a minimum of seven years to comply with UK tax and legal requirements.

Once retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have rights under UK GDPR, including the right to access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate information, request erasure where appropriate, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time.

Requests can be made by contacting hello@nuuvo.health. We will respond within one month, unless the request is complex or requires an extension, in which case we will inform you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

NUUVO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated: 30th December 2025

These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Nuuvo Ltd (“Nuuvo”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides healthcare management and related services to you. Please read them carefully, as they form a legally binding agreement between you and Nuuvo when you engage our services.

Nuuvo Ltd is a UK-based healthcare company providing medically governed services in accordance with applicable laws, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

1. Scope of services

Nuuvo provides healthcare management, preventive medicine, diagnostics, longevity-focused programmes, and related clinical and advisory services. Services may include medical consultations, health assessments, diagnostics, referrals, case management, and coordination of care with external providers.

Nuuvo does not provide insurance services, nor does it guarantee specific clinical outcomes. All services are delivered in accordance with current clinical guidance, professional standards, and individual clinical judgment.

2. Clinical independence and professional judgment

All clinicians engaged by Nuuvo exercise independent professional medical judgment in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients. Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as influencing, restricting, or overriding a clinician’s professional obligations to act in the best interests of the patient.

Clinical decisions are made on an individual basis, informed by medical assessment, evidence-based practice, and patient preference.

3. Patient responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your health, medical history, and personal details. This is essential to ensure safe and appropriate care. Nuuvo is not responsible for consequences arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by you.

You are encouraged to ask questions, raise concerns, and participate actively in decisions about your care.

4. Appointments, cancellations, and availability

Appointments may be provided in person, remotely, or through coordinated services with third-party providers. Where an appointment is booked, we require a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations made within seventy-two hours of a scheduled appointment may be charged in full, unless exceptional circumstances apply. This policy ensures fair access to clinical time and continuity of care.

5. Fees and payment

You agree to pay all fees associated with services provided or arranged by Nuuvo. Fees will be communicated transparently in advance. Where case management or coordination fees apply, these will be clearly disclosed prior to service delivery.

Nuuvo may assist with insurance claims or reimbursement where applicable, but responsibility for payment remains with you unless otherwise agreed in writing. Nuuvo does not guarantee reimbursement by insurers or third parties.

6. Use of third-party providers

Where clinically appropriate, Nuuvo may refer or recommend third-party providers such as hospitals, laboratories, imaging centres, or specialist clinicians. These providers operate independently and are not employees or agents of Nuuvo.

While we take reasonable care in selecting reputable providers, Nuuvo is not responsible for the services delivered by third parties. Clinical responsibility rests with the provider delivering the service.

7. Electronic communication

Unless you notify us otherwise in writing, you consent to communication via email, telephone, and text message regarding appointments, clinical information, and care coordination.

Electronic communication is used in line with professional guidance and data protection law. While reasonable safeguards are in place, you acknowledge that electronic communication carries inherent risks and may be subject to technical failure or interception beyond our control.

8. Confidentiality and data protection

Your personal and medical information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and our Privacy Policy. Confidentiality is maintained in line with professional and regulatory standards, including General Medical Council guidance.

Information may be shared where necessary for your care, where legally required, or where you have provided consent.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, Nuuvo’s liability is limited to losses that are reasonably foreseeable and directly attributable to a breach of these Terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss arising from services provided by independent third-party providers.

10. Changes to services or terms

Nuuvo may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or service delivery. The most current version will be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. Nuuvo may assign these Terms in the event of a business transfer, merger, or restructuring, provided your rights are not materially affected.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
